mengikut kamus dewan edisi 4: endearing bermaksud menimbulkan rasa sayang. tapi dalam konteks endearing dalam perbuatan, agak-agaknya puisi Jan ni nak gambarkan apa ek?
dalam oxford advances learner dia ckp endearing means causing people to feel affection. so sama la kan. dalam perbuatan? jan dah fikir before jan buat poem tu.. my interpretation is.. its up to people's nyer perasaan sendiri la. as for me.. perbuatan someone is endearing for me. tau tak.. cam.. bila org tu out of the blue ckp. hey jan i miss you.. jan cam.. eehhh sayangnya kat org ni.. so maknanya dia menimbulkan rasa sayang. apa dia ckp/buat telah membuatkan kan jan rasa sayang kat dia.. hmm betul ke ah? ntahla...
'endearing'....for me, there is nothing such a wonderful poem by carebear in inspiring the love..love of human kind....no need the 'kamus dewan' to know it's meaning..as personal it's touch my feeling for 'Those days'.
